The foundations is powered by thirty local professional women from law, media, property development, heath and small business. A unique aspect about the foundations is that it is also strongly supported by professional men in the community. The team is strongly committed to real and positive outcomes for less fortunate North Queensland women and children.

In one year, the foundation hosted eight events and raised $120,000 for the women’s centre.  The Sky Foundation brand was quickly established and celebrated within the community.  This enabled our network to expand exponentially.  The foundation regularly featured in the media with our results.  Our fundraising events were focused on the building fund due to the urgent need to repair the premises.
